- This bacterin-toxoid will serve as an aid in the
prevention of atrophic rhinitis caused by the toxin of pasteurella
multocida serotypes A and D. The bacterin-toxoid also aids in
prevention of arthritis and meningitis caused by Streptococcus suis
and prevention of erysipelas caused by Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae.
Dosage: sows and gilts: 2 cc IM. Give 2 doses at least 2 weeks apart
with the second dose administered 2 weeks before farrowing.
Revaccinate before each subsequent farrowing. 21 day withdrawal.
